Peter Clayton
Born in 1959, Peter studied Fine Art at Preston Polytechnic, Lancaster. Since then he has been exhibiting his paintings and limited linocut prints at galleries throughout the UK – with a number of solo exhibitions at Abbot Hall Art Gallery, Kendal, Tib Lane Gallery, Manchester and Vaughan College, Leicester.
Peter has also completed a number of residencies and commissions – include a series of 30 mixed media paintings for P & O Cruise Liners ‘Arcadia’.
We’re pleased to exhibit Peter’s energetic linocut prints – often taking the creeks and boatyards of North Norfolk as his inspiration – which in many way reflect the spirit of Edward Bawden’s work.
